Our PTFA is proud and grateful for the excellent relationship they have with the teachers, governors, parents, carers, local business and most of all the school children, who by all working together are improving Silkstone Primary School now and for the future.

Our school has a welcoming, enthusiastic and dedicated PTFA team; who work together to ensure that the children of Silkstone Primary School have the enrichment activities and resources they deserve. They work hard to ensure that they can advance the children’s education and create memorable experiences.

Our PTFA is keen to raise funds that provide value for money for those who support the events and activities they organise. They aim to organise events that bring the community together and involve a lot of fun for all.

Our PTFA team relies on support from so many people and is always extremely grateful for any support people can provide. You can support our PTFA in so many ways, so please get in touch. They are always thankful for any help received no matter how big or small. If you only have 5 minutes to help or would like to help at one or all our events, you are always welcome.

World Book Day

Thank you to everyone who bought a Wonka Bar in our World Book Day Fundraising event.  Here are a few of the lucky winners who won a Golden Ticket with their prizes.

Summer Fair

The sun shone and everyone had a wonderful time at the Summer Fair.  There was lots to do including; games to enjoy including hook a duck and splat the rat, year 6's to drench in the stocks, police horses to admire, prizes to be won on the tombola, delicious milkshakes and cookies, Jay's bar, the Governor's barbeque and a fantastic raffle.

The event raised a magnificent £3420.00 for our school. 

Summer Fair 2022

The sun shone and we all had a wonderful time at the Summer Fair.  There was musical entertainment, a bar and barbeque and plenty of stalls to enjoy.  Visits from the Police and Fire Service, along with Silkstone Swifts, Jordan in goal and John and his ice-cream van all added to a super day.  

Mini Mudder 2022

Our sponsored Mini Mudder was a great success.  Every child in school took part in the muddy challenge.  After all the children had attempted the course it was time for the staff and PTFA members!  It was a fantastic day.  Thanks to Bryan for his amazing course design.
