SEND
Children are at the heart of all we do at Silkstone Primary School and our Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) offer reflects the policy and practice of our school.
At Silkstone Primary School we believe that all children have the right to enjoy learning experiences that excite their imaginations and inspire their dreams. Our vision ensures all children acquire the skills, knowledge and understanding to succeed at all stages of their education and to equip them with high aspirations for their futures
We believe that all members of the school community should be treated with respect; have individual, diverse needs recognised, and be given the opportunity to reach their full potential. We are working to achieve this in variety of different ways. The school work with due regard to all relevant legislation and guidance including; the SEND Code of Practice (2015), the Equality Act (2010) and the Children and Families Act (2014).
